SMCPS & St. Mary's
College of MD Collaborate
(Left to right) Dr. Larry Vote, acting president of St. Mary's College of Maryland,
and Dr. Michael J. Martirano, superintendent of St. Mary's County Public Schools
(SMCPS), recently signed a partnership agreement between the two institutions related
to professional development. The agreement aims to:
- Enhance the educational experience for all students in
SMCPS;
- Ensure high quality induction into the profession for
new teachers; and
- Engage in furthering the professional development of veteran teachers and teacher
educators.
